FACT:
Marvel unexpectedly pushed The First Avenger: Captain America movie back all the way to late 2011 which is around 3 years from now.
Marvel already has three huge stars in Robert Downey Jr., Edward Norton, and Samuel L. Jackson who are all scheduled to appear in the Avengers movie which is scheduled to be released in the same summer as the Captain America movie!
In a recent discussion with one of Kevin Feige's associates it was disclosed to me that the entire Captain America movie project was in disarray and they simply couldn't find anyone that had everything needed to play the part. Captain America in the comics was the perfect man in every single aspect. You can get by with a below average looking Superman because he has Superpowers that don't require perfectly proportioned muscularity. On the other hand Captain America is the peak of human perfection in all terms of his appearance and has no superpowers therefore a strong powerful muscularity is foremost needed for anyone who would be cast. Also in the Captain America movie the character Steve Rogers is supposed to be seen as a normal man at the beginning of the movie and then because of being given the super solider serum he turns into a Mr. Olympia type physical powerhouse overnight. Which makes it even that much harder to cast the part......So in this discussion I pressed my friend further to get any info I could and to make a long story short our discussion got very heated because he was completely in favor of Kevin and all those on board the movie to make a CGI created Captain America. What is a disgrace is that not only is Marvel in favor of a CGI Captain America but they have already began to make him. Don't you find it curious that the "man" in the leaked video clips and images you have seen with the rumored name of "Steve Rogers" mystery actor is known by NO ONE and he seems to have No Name, No History, and No existence? Well this is so perfectly explained by the fact that he isn’t even real! Yes there may very well have been a man or men who were used as a base look for the final CGI cut but the final look is entirely CGI.
I urge you to take a very close look at the leaked test image of the closeup of Captain America’s face. Look very closely.

You will find that not only is it flawless but it is also absolutely identical to the Captain America comic Steve Rogers. There is no such man who has that perfect look. Notice how they are testing his movements and how his muscles appear as flawless as a comic book image brought to life but that's all it is: just a computer generated image. Also notice you have never heard this CGI speak yet. That is because Marvel is now searching for the perfect voice for this super perfect CGI monsterous manifestation. So look forward to possibly hearing George Clooney's voice coming out of an Arnold/Stallone superman walking around demolishing bad guys. So perhaps at least we will get A list level voice acting coming out of some CGI Greek God. How could anyone stomach such a sad idea.
Marvel has been trying to keep the comic fans going along thinking it may be some A list actor such as Matt Damon or Leonardo Dicaprio when every one within Marvel knows that adding another A list actor to the Avengers movie would not only be extremely over budget expensive but practically impossible considering the special effects and money needed to be put into the film’s production.
So the next time you see that perfect Captain America face on the internet make sure you let everyone know that it’s a computer generated image and nothing more.

I think this is bullshit because I was hoping they could find an actor to pull off the Captain gig. Guess the Marvel bastards wimped out and just said - screw it let's make him CGI.

The movie will be outstanding. There will be a strong symbolism in having this movie be completely CGI. It will show that America has the best technology there is and that it's good enough to even create a realistic man on screen.

This blog needs to be taken down immediately. This information is not suppossed to be out this early and it could do damage to what could otherwise be a very successfull project. BioFX CGI is the next big thing and this movie is going to be the trailblazer for it.

I can't believe I couldn't see it. When I watch those videos I again now I can tell. I think even in that picture the jaw just doesn't go right with the face. It's too structured like a perfect painting.
And NO. I will not see some stupid animated Captain America movie. Unless this tech is something out just out of this world new age. Then maybe I'll check it out.

I'm sure there will be CGI augmentation, there isn't a movie out there that isn't augmented by CGI somehow or other today, even to cover blemishes and such. Grow up. Anyway moving on from that fool I think the whole CGI movie is an interesting idea. I would have to see more of it before I could really give my opinion on it. If the true first test of this new BioFX CGI was in that picture and in those video clips of the Steve Rogers then they are really off to a pretty impressive start.
Looks like people are actually starting to like the idea of a CGI movie downwithCGI. You may have just opened everyone's eyes to a new world of entertainment without even realizing it. I'm not sure about what you claim but either way that new Steve Rogers man/CGI is sensational looking and getting people excited for this movie which is great!
It's looking more likely that this Captain America movie is going to be CGI considering that Sony is moving in to release Spiderman 4 the same time Captain America is supposed to be released. So this will probably cause Captain America to get pushed back another year which will even give them more time to tweak and perfect the new BioFX CGI that looks so impressive already - if that indeed is real...
number 1 if there was a man that looked like that we would know about him because he'd be some big model or actor or something with those looks.
now nobody seems to know who this cat is. so that just shows that the man ain't real by a long shot. marvel's got something up there sleeve here. they pushed the movie back, switched directors, and are rewriting the script for this new cig created man.
